Normally, once the profile name is listed on the Profiles tab in the Options dialog box, it never gets updated unless the user re-imports from the ARG file. ![]() Because AutoCAD uses the ARG file as the master template to determine what preference settings are set when switching between profiles, it is best to export and re-import the ARG file whenever permanent changes to the profile are required.
